This student is using a multiplication chart as a resource to create equivalent fractions and to solve problems involving fractions. He is practicing a strategy he learned in his math interventions to solve these problems successfully.

I provide tutoring services to students who need help with academics, either help with homework, making gains with reading or math, or developing a deeper understanding of a concept.

About

I have spent over 20 in the public school system as a Special Educator, providing academic interventions and behavior supports to students. My goal was to increase students’ ability to access, participate and learn in their classroom. I worked closely with classroom teachers to make this happen.

Now, I want to work closely with students and their parents to provide the tutoring supports and interventions needed so students can access, participate and learn in their classroom.
